The office building at the Spoorlaan is a former double house and municipal monument. Early 50's, the building was substantially altered and remodeled internally at the rear. The street facade is almost unchanged. The current layout no longer meets the needs of today. In the feasibility study we looked for the ability to maintain existing street facade and floors and make for more flexible layouts and open work spaces in the office. And more light and space. This was achieved through the use of a central void and breaking through bearing walls to make space and light.
