Dark chocolate - Living space for Exacting

JABRAARCHITECTS as Architects

Quite small apartment size with 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom and a big hall, was a challenge for architects, who wanted to transform very tight flat into a spacious apartment.

The demolition of the walls in area of the kitchen and the living room gave a quite large open space, in which there are the daily zone rooms – living room, kitchen, dining room and hall. Private zone contains bedrooms and bathroom.

The elegant interior design is based on contrasts that are used in all rooms. Plum colors are contrasted with bright surfaces, and furniture with matt finish contrast with glossy. Minimalist simple forms are combined with elements of classic and antique style. Warm climate in the interior is the result of wooden oak floor finished in oil. Turquoise sofa contrasts with the colours in apartment, but in the first place is the accent in the main room of the apartment.

Kitchen, despite the fact that it is open, is clearly separated functional room. Minimalist, dark furniture contrasts with antique-style cream cupboards, while glossy black mosaic on the wall is combined with matt finish of the walls, floor and furniture.

Small bathroom is full of elegance. Matt black mosaic on the walls perfectly matches sparkling white sanitary ceramics, black glass and white floor. A large mirror in a stylized gold frame is contrast with simplicity of the bathroom.

The interior is designed with classical elegance.
