An exclusive club set right in the middle of historic Zurich, Club zum Rennweg consists of a lounge, restaurant, and bar spread over three floors. Co-sponsored by Carpe Diem—the kombacha brand from Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz—the club also serves as Carpe Diem’s first flagship store, with subsequent branches in Salzburg and London following the design template set here. To lend greater visual height as well as to reference kombacha’s Asian origins, wooden vertical slats that sculpt the walls into rounded curves form the main design language. Custom seating was also developed from the same design vocabulary, while colors and textures were all derived from Carpe Diem’s visual identity to create a cohesive and immersive brand environment.
