Via Carluccio’s – Tottenham Court Road

DesignLSM as Designers

DesignLSM, have recently completed the interior design for the launch of Via Carluccio’s in Tottenham Court Road.

The new fast casual concept from the Carluccio’s brand combines their authentic Italian food with efficient and speedy service for busy londoners on the go.

Via(meaning street in Italian) was inspired by founder Antonio Carluccio’strain travels across Italy.

The intention is to bring his experience of real Italian food on the move to the bustling retail and restaurant hub of Tottenham Court Road. DesignLSM’s brief was to create a natural extension of Carluccio’s existing deli offer, adopting a simple yet bold interior to reflect the quality and authenticity associated with the brand.

Our designers utiliseda minimal palette of materials made up of concrete, light timber and bespoke vinyls, maximising the natural day light of the space and allowing the fresh and vibrant produce on display to be the main focus. The ceramic works of the late Italian designer and architect GioPontiinspired the striking design of the wall coverings giving ‘Via’ a separate identity from it’s parent brand.

DesignLSM are delighted with how well received this new addition to the Carluccio’s family has been since it’s opening. Our design team are proud to continue our work with Carluccio’s adding to their ever-increasing portfolio across the UK and internationally.
