Leverkusen obtained a new landmark with the modernized BayArena in Leverkusen Since the start of the construction in April 2008 a lot has changed in the BayArena. Thus the old west building was demolished and replaced by an advanced new building. An important factor in the design was the flexibility and functionality of the spaces. For the interior of the building Espero mobile walls were used. The architects have chosen the range Sonico of Espero Mobile walls. The Espero Sonico consists of separate composite panels, which are hanging on a ceiling track and can be moved to form a wall. They consist of a self-supporting, with steel and high-quality particleboard reinforced aluminum frame and feature the patented Espero Quick closure.

Excellent Sound insulation though good isolation of the elements is guaranteed.
