The Aviator's villa is an exploration of the idea of "gravity" and its representation as a concept made into space. The house appears as a static reproduction of the dynamics of flight, as well as a depiction of a "supported" ground. Generally conceived as two main spaces (the base living room and the upper bedroom) which are connected via a structural stair core, the house is set in an unidentified field, whose margins are a parallel to the unobstructed skies. A series of intermediary spaces (mezzanine loft and upper galleries) expand on the concept of "suspension" as they connect with the outdoors both visually and physically. The bare interiors are a reminder of the essential quality of the space, that of functionality and daring.
