The new office building of the Association for Refuse Utilisation in Schwandorf marries the building with the countryside. The ground floor between 8 and 18 metres wide is incorporated into a sound barrier overlaid by a 140 metre long curved construction. The double curved timber half shell with a large glass façade over the entrance give the building its distinctive look. In the bathroom area, water management has top priority.
The use of infrared controlled GROHE Europlus E fittings in the bathroom and GROHE Tectron Skate with Rapid SL installation systems for urinals provides optimum levels of hygiene and significantly reduced water consumption at the basins and in the toilet area.
