The project consists in the preliminary study for the regeneration of a hospitality unit. It seeks to incorporate the concept ‘hotel design’ with the creation of an appropriate interior architecture – 145 rooms, a Conference Room, Lounge, Bar/Club, Restaurant and SPA.
The creation of this unit requires an expansion and requalification of the existent building (in respect of the amount of floor levels) and the adaptation to a new technical infra-structure network and respective regulatory requisites (such as water and ventilation, power, telecommunications, etc). The expected attainment of this project is to find a perfect compatibility of these systems with the principles of sustainability, in order to guarantee better quality and a high level of comfort to the future users.
The concept of this complex sits on a modern yet subtle architectural language – respect for the original building’s character or any other pre-existent elements, and the attribution of new features, experiences and facilities.
