Founded by three friends in 2006,today true fruitsis market leaderfor smoothies and juices in Germany. In line with its impressive growth, the company’s need for space to accommodate its employees - now numbering 24 -hasalso expanded. For the new rooms in Bonn true fruits wanted modern and unusual offices, tailored to the needsof the company with a focus on employee well-being.
To achieve this, the interior designers of LEPEL & LEPELcreated special spaces within the open ccollaborative office, such as cosy living room, which can be screened off both visually and acoustically, and the large kitchen, in which the teamcan eat and cook together. Booths and bespoke room-within-a-room solutionsprovide space for small meetings as well as presentation and white board areas. An eye-catching and unusual venue for meetings amongstlush plants is the glass greenhouse set alongside the other workplaces quite naturally.
Overall, however, design takes a back seat in order to provide space for development –for employees and products alike. White is the dominant colour with just a few colour accents, which are consequently all the more vibrant and energizing. With walls covered in dark blackboard paint, the kitchen not only provides a contrast and counterpoint to the white of the offices but also a creative space for employees.
The philosophy of true fruits is as simple as it is basic to all aspects of the company: "no tricks". In line with this, the focus of the interior design was on treating the materials used “honestly”: wooden beams and plywood wereincorporatedwithout cosmetic treatment, paired with translucent double-skin plates which enable separation without excluding light.
