The building is being future proofed for higher occupation densities. Public art is being incorporated, which will also be visible from the main road; the purpose of this is to enhance the approach to the building focusing on the main entrance.
AWW has put sustainability at the heart of the scheme with a high quality, energy efficient, contemporary building which will achieve a BREEAM rating of ‘Excellent’. 500sqm of photovoltaic cells are being located on the roof, and an energy centre with bio-mass boiler and aduct reservation will enable the building to be connected to a district CHP system in the future.
