CARDIFF NEW BEGINNINGS D&G EXHIBITION As a company it has always been part of our marketing strategy to exhibit at various establishments such as universities and colleges, We believe it’s important to be at such events to catch up with our existing customers and to hopefully meet new ones but on the 9th of April 2013 we held our very own exhibition all on our lonesome! We hired out the atrium at the iconic Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and it proved the perfect backdrop for the eclectic mix of furniture we exhibited there, true to its purpose it provided just the right amount of drama! We are all extremely proud of how well it turned out especially as it was the first we had organised ourselves. The purpose of the exhibition for us was to introduce or re-introduce ourselves as a company to local Architects and to introduce some of our trusted suppliers such as Gresham Office Furniture, Orangebox, Connection, CPD, Desso, Ashton & Bentley and predominantly Sedus to the masses J Sedus is a global player in the office furniture market which continually redefines the concept of aesthetic office furniture and gives a new and timeless quality to the office environment. From the reception areas to individual, combination, open-plan and directors’ offices, Sedus offers furniture solutions for the entire organisation. Guided by the rules of modern workstation design and tailored to meet the customer’s needs, A concept they call Place 2.5. In a nutshell Sedus embody a new emotional office culture. They believe that in a well-designed, stimulating work environment, employees experience a greater sense of purpose, fun, success and satisfaction. They are motivated to contribute their expertise and energy for the good of the company. We very aptly themed the exhibition ‘New Beginnings’ as this was our aim, cementing our relationship with Sedus and to build new and hopefully long lasting relationships with the individuals involved in design and procurement from the very conception. It is our belief that careful consideration at the very beginning leads to a far more concise, well thought out overall design on completion. We took inspiration from nature and incorporated natural finishes and Green tones into the furniture exhibited and to be sympathetic to such a modern setting we contrasted these natural tones with a contemporary monochromatic palette. The overall aesthetics were striking and perfectly harmonised within its surroundings. Overall it was a positive experience for D&G and one we hope to repeat in the future, Working closely together with Sedus confirmed what we already believed to be an extremely successful partnership and one we are confident could work to the advantage of all our customers. If you didn't have the opportunity to come along then we hope to meet you in our future endeavours.
