Central London Housing Development

A long planning process over 2 years with Wandsworth BC to achieve mixed residential scheme. The planners were persuaded to accept contemporary scheme to offset traditional buildings in street. The scheme was made up of 3 new modern houses with gardens and studios, 2 converted houses with new basements and balconies, and 3 duplex studio units in old school building over 3 levels. Partial demolition of the old buildings was required to make way for new houses. The new build terrace consists of reclaimed London yellow stock bricks, large glazed openings and burnished bronze panel cladding.
