Sp10 has designed a reflecting elevator, a small-scale building near the villa Durazzo Bombrini, a Neoclassic building designed by the french architect Pierre Paul de Cotte in the eighteenth century, in order to remove the architectural barriers and to ensure equal access to all to the first level of the villa. Shaped as a prismatic simple volume between the trees and the facade, the small tower mirrors its surroundings. The project is also inspired to Superstudio's photomontages of Reflected Architecture. The hoist-way metalwork is covered by reflective glass laminated, mounted on the wall continues, supported by steel rotoules fixed to the metal frame. The height of the compartment measures 10580 mm.
