The area around the Schoenerstraat in Gasselternijveen was at the point of becoming a problem area. Build in the 60’s, small, uninsulated, boring family and senior housing packed together on a small territory. The homes didn’t qualify the standards of Today, looking at comfort and energyuse. The result of this was people leaving the area and a decrease of social supervision and involvement.
