THE ROTHSCHILD 71 hotel celebrates its’ Iconic building in the heart of Tel Aviv’s Bauhaus Heritage Site

Built in 1934, the rothschild 71 hotel pays homage to Tel Aviv’s architectural heritage while creating an atmosphere that is both contemporary and luxurious for today's global traveller. Set in the heart of Rothschild Boulevard, an enclave of listed Bauhaus architecture, the family-owned hotel brings a warm, home-like feel to the cultural epicentre of Tel Aviv. Guests are met with Bauhaus and International Style-inspired guestrooms and design features, such as the distinct International Style staircase (pictured above), with local artwork seen throughout the hotel.

Designed by Zeev Rechter, one of Israel’s founding fathers of modernist architecture, the rothschild 71 was originally built as a patient clinic and private residence for the Krieger family, known for hosting many guests. Today, their grandchildren keep the charm of the home intact through conservation of its familial ambiance and gracious hospitality. The old family parlour has been converted into a library lounge/reception where guests can relax, enjoy complimentary drinks and bites at all hours and leaf through the hotel's extensive library. The hotel was awarded the 2013 Trip Advisor’s Travellers’ Choice Award and provides the exemplary, attentive service which discerning travellers and businessmen have come to anticipate. The landmark building is situated on Rothschild Boulevard, Israel's most iconic promenade housing an intimate gathering of independent cafes, bars and designer boutiques and providing guests with access to the city's best dining destinations and rich cultural offerings.

Location The hotel is walking distance from the business district and in close proximity to Tel Aviv’s sandy beaches. At the hotel's façade lies Cantina restaurant, a beloved institution thanks to its unique atmosphere and rich menu of Italian cuisine with Mediterranean influences. UNESCO Tel Aviv's White City was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2003. The White city refers to a collection of over 4000 Bauhaus and International Style buildings constructed in the 1930's. Tel Aviv has the largest number of buildings of this style of any cities in the world. Rooms Each of the hotel's 25 luxury suites, which include a studio, executive, residence, penthouse and rothschild suite, is designed to reflect an urban sophistication with fine furnishings offsetting their clean lines and ample space. the rothschild 71 is well suited for both long and short-term accommodation; the highly individual rooms are equipped with all the latest amenities. In-suite facilities such as complementary Wi-Fi, an entertainment system, an office workstation, and a kitchenette upon request, ensure each guest feels at home. Over the years, the property has been frequented by some of Tel-Aviv’s most important cultural figures as well as generations upon generations of Tel-Avivians.
