The Aluminium Temple of Roermond

The Aluminium Temple of Roermond

3Develop as Architects

Complete freedom of design! That is certainly true for the material. As always the only limitations are posed by the location. In this case: the size and the shape of the Euramax factory wall, the lower part with the white bricks, the windows that cannot be covered and the sloping roof.

But once you see it, it's inevitable: this building is a Greek temple. The windows turn into a frieze, supported by rows of solid columns that are standing on a platform surrounded by white bricks. In the triangular tympanum between the windows and the sloping roof there is room for the company name and logo as well as the rolls of aluminium that can be found inside.

Inside the forest of columns multi-colored lights are shining, symbolizing the many colorfull posibilities of aludesign technology. In the meantime these lights add a mysterious atmosphere to the scene, making the visitor curious what's inside this temple.

The design is also available as a 7400 x 3000 pixel raster image. In case the white bricks should be covered as well, the design can be extended by adding five steps there.
