Design of The Multi-Storey Luxury Shopping Center “Cosmos Center”

Takis Gavrilis & Partners Design Team designed this multi-storey shopping mall on Kifissias Ave. in Athens which has upgraded the area, covering its needs for an organized commercial space. The shopping center features eight floors of shops and a mutli-storey underground parking garage for 300 cars. A major element of the scheme is the square in the middle of the structure, which develops in various levels and is accessible from all the streets surrounding the building. The main entrance is on Kifissias Ave. so that more visitors are attracted in the center. Furthermore, the design aims towards a visual and aesthetic unification of the commercial spaces in the various levels through large openings in the center of the structure. All shops have access through the mutli-storey atrium so that they are all promoted equally regardless of the level they are on.
