The hut has two main sides; a front façade which is shingled with bum sliders and a backside that consists of a big pile of snow with the frame of the front façade going up as a railing.
The bum sliders hangs on pegs that are attached to a criss-crossed wooden framework. The sliders are easy to detach and have a round pad of wool glued on it to make it warmer both as insulation for the hut and for when you are sliding on the snow or using it to sit on.
The pads are colored in a red paint and comes in five different shades, depending on how long time the pads are left to soak in the red colorant. This makes the façade change constantly, as the sliders shifts places and disappearing, leaving more of the structure visible as leaves falling from a tree.
The whole construction is cheap and easy to build and will have a much larger appearance than the amount of bought materials suggests at first, since the larger part of the building mass is actually snow and the rest is pretty much a coulisse.
