URBAN PHYTOREMEDIATION
For the 2015 Milano biennale, we designed a pavillion for its Instant House competition. The pavillion is based on the farming process of phytoremediation, soil improvement through crop planting. The building is a movable pig shed combined with a hangout and info booth. By moving its along a path, it leaves a trail of pig-ploughed usuable urban farm land, ready for urban farming. Urban Phytoremediation has been a cooperation with Milano and Barcelona based B22 (Stefano Tropea and Mikel Martinez).
