The client wished to renovate a turn of the century apartment in Ljubljana to meet contemporary needs of a young family without changing the well preserved layout of the apartment. The structure and the floor plan therefore remained untouched, only the maid's room next to the kitchen became bathroom, keeping the original circular flow of the spaces and a logical distribution of the service spaces next to the corridor and living spaces along the street facade of the building.
Only one element of furniture has been designed for each room of the apartment, giving each space its own character and at the same time connecting them into a single story. The selection of all other furnishings has been left to the client.
