The restoration project and interior design involve a typical house in the historical center of Locorotondo. This house is characterized by a pitched roof made of “chianche” (the so called “cummersa") and by a multilevel plan. The restoration works involved the outside of the house, where at first the old synthetic plasters were removed and then joints made of a lime based mortar were installed with the stone that was whitened using lime water. After that, fixtures were substituted with new ones and plastic downspouts were substituted with clay tubes. The interior design required a new distribution of the ambients to adapt them to customer requirements.

The well structured distribution of ambients allowed a study of details and in particular the attention to the furnitures. Most of the furnitures are customized in a nearly “self-build” way and they are reflected on the steel cube in the kitchen.
