This low and spatial house is situated behind a row of tall houses. Two interlocking volumes emphasizes the shape of the plot and also ensure privacy from the adjacent houses.
In the higher master volume a large vide connects the living room and kitchen with the workspaces on the first floor. Daylight enters the room through a seven meter glass sliding door. By opening this “wall” the living space is extended to the outside.
In the lower volume are the bathroom and bedrooms situated. All these rooms are oriented towards the garden. Above this volume is the roof garden/terrace located. An external staircase connects the terrace with the garden. The facades of the volume consist of dark brick, concrete [with a wood texture] and greyed wood. This closed “fence” hides the true riches of this house.
