The lobby of C1 resembles a Mad Hatter dream where objects are large, out of scale and not quite what they should be. Various focal points in the lobby blend cash with cool, with some main elements being:
- The volcanic black MeltME chandelier above the “Clients First” table made of Murano glass and composed of deconstructed fluid shapes which appear to be melting. The chandelier is a symbol of the bank – taking something that would be typically traditional and giving it an unexpected twist
- The custom-designed 12-foot-square gold frame by Jason Hulfish with Hulfish Design Studio, a design aficionado that has been featured on Extreme Makeover home edition, Bar Rescue & HGTV Post Tots. The over-the-top frame houses blue chip art, currently filled with Keith Haring’s Andy Mouse silkscreens
- The two movable conference pods that were intended to resemble a modern day genie bottle with its mix of different Romo Fabric patterns and colors. In a space where everything is crisp, clean and white, the inside of the pods are a burst of life; again reminding its clients that this is not your grandfather’s bank
- In the Mad Hatter tea party-style conference room with chairs designed by PolArt and a MeltMe chandelier custom-sized by Andromeda, is the limited-edition collection of Andy Warhol’s Mick Jagger screen prints.
