The WL1 wall lamp is designed in the form of a hemisphere that can be manually screwed out from the wall when needed and, in so doing, automatically switches itself on. In the switched off state, the “back wall” of the lamp creates a harmonious whole with the wall surface - the actual luminaire, thus meaning the hemisphere, is not visible, and merely a minimal circular joint betrays its presence. Needless to say, the luminaire is powered by state-of-the-art LED technology. This exciting and innovative design stems from the Bremen artist and designer Joachim Manz.
