The main advantage of UponorMinitec is its low installation height. You can easily fit different floor coverings on to it – depending on the customer’s individual requirements. Therefore, UponorMinitec brings excellent living comfort even to renovated houses.

The sturdy UponorMinitec nub foil elements can be walked on instantly and ensure a fast and efficient installation of the Uponor PE-Xa pipes by a single technician. They are suitable for all room geometries and do not need to be installed right to the edge of the floor. The UponorMinitec product line includes all the components required for fitting in doorways and to adjoining walls. The UponorMinitec foil element for laying the PE-Xa pipes 9.9 x 1.1 mm can be installed on any existing screed, timber or tiled floor.

Thanks to its low element height of around one centimetre, UponorMinitec is particularly suitable for integration into existing buildings during renovations. The nub foil is equipped with punched holes in between the naps, which ensures, that the levelling compound can spread easily and bonds firmly with the substructure.

The rear side of the element is equipped with an adhesive surface, ensuring a secure fixture to the floor during installation. The self-adhesive edging strip with self-adhesive foil available in L and I profile creates a seal along the wall. The levelling layer is installed just above the raised nubs, resulting in an installation height of only 15 mm. After a short drying time, the desired floor covering can be placed directly onto the surface.

Your advantages • The thinnest hydronic underfloor heating/cooling installation • Elements height of one centimetre only • Ideal for retrofitting in existing buildings during renovations • Suitable for direct installation on screed or tiled floors • Short heat-up times • UponorMinitec goes with different covering layers – depending on individual wishes
