Climate monitoring

Ultra unit heaters cannot only heat, but also cool and ventilate. The ceiling units are designated for use in large, high-end spaces where conventional unit heaters are often unacceptable for aesthetic reasons. With a minimum height of 330 mm, that blends beautifully into every architectural style, Ultra unit heaters deliver high outputs from the most compact dimensions.

The hexagonal housing design does not only create a harmonious appearance, but also guarantees an optimum air distribution when heating and cooling. Thanks to the perfectly proportioned, circular copper/aluminium coil, the direction of the conditioned air can be individually adjusted. The air guidance slats can be slotted into six different positions. Thus, Ultra reliably creates a “feel good” climate in showrooms and sales floors, foyers or retail chains – from a height of up to four metres.

The new ErP compliant Ultra EC series are equipped with the most energy-efficient drive concept, through the use of EC technology. This also makes the units operate ultra-silent – even in cooling mode, due to the high-performance, quiet condensate pump. The base and condensation tray, with external float switch and snap-lock fastening, are easily removable for maintenance, enabling Ultra to meet the hygiene requirements of VDI 6022.

Ultra unit heaters are available in three models with a wide output range and are also suitable for use with low temperature water. They can be run in recirculating air or mixed air operation. Various control options, including electromechanical control or KaControl system, make Ultra even more versatile. An integration into KaControl networks or building automation system, such as BACnet, Modbus or LON, is also possible.

Composition of the product/Material: The key components of the product include: - lightweight housing components in traffic white RAL 9016 - with hexagonal air outlet, settable in six defined angles - ring-shaped high-output copper-aluminium coil - whisper-quite, sickle-blade EC fan - condensation tray with external float switch and snap-lock fastening - cooling version with high-performance, quite condensate pump

Technical aspects (size, weight, consumption, sound, sustainability,...): - available in four different series (73, 84, 85, 96) and three sizes (330 x 750/900/1050 x 870/1004/1177 mm) - 40 – 55 kg - for recirculating air or mixed air operation - wide output range, also suitable for use with low water temperatures - heat output 5.0 – 47.4 kW (at LPHW 75/95 °C, EAT = 20 °C) - cooling output 2.5 – 14.9 kW (at CHW 7/12 °C, RT = 27 °C, 48 % relative humidity, at maximum fan speed) - air volume 1,830 – 5,580 m³/h - sound pressure level 51 – 61 dB(A) (measured at a distance of 3 m) - throw of 3.7 – 7.0 m - EC continuously variable 230 V control

Origin: - manufactured in Lower-Saxony, Germany

Application: - buildings of all kinds, which need to be ideally heated and ventilated with centralised or decentralised control (warehouses and logistics buildings, sports halls, retail chains, commercial and industrial buildings) - some typical areas of application include retail chains, showrooms and sales floors and foyers - heating and ventilation of retail outlets within suspended ceilings and with 625 x 625 mm suspended ceiling grids (600 x 600 mm on request) - in rooms with a ceiling height of approx. 2.5 – 4 m , where the installation of unit heaters is usually not possible for aesthetic reasons
