In traditional electroplating, the object is dipped into an acid and layer of desired coating is deposited on the object. In PVD, the object is coated with the help of metal vapors creating a coating which gives excellent adhesion and uniformity. The coating provides corrosion resistance, tarnish resistance and wear resistance. Due to this process the finish lasts for several years, hence GODREJ gives a warranty of 15 years on the finish and functionality. This is the first of its kind from GODREJ.
