In all cases in which strict requirements are set for sound insulation to protect people or the environment, Protec Industrial Doors has developed a couple of sound-insulating doors and had them recently tested at Peutz.
The 4 tested doors respectively achieved a sound reduction of 32, 35, 38 and 45 dB. Type Protec A is the sound-insulating overhead door for various areas of application.
The sound-insulating doors are available as 4 models:
* 32 dB certified by Peutz in accordance with ISO 140-3:1995 * 35 dB certified by Peutz in accordance with ISO 140-3:1995 * 38 dB certified by Peutz in accordance with ISO 140-3:1995 * 45 dB certified by Peutz in accordance with ISO 140-3:1995 * specific models up to 56 dB are possible
Protec Industrial Doors has tested the sound-insulating overhead doors as complete door structures and not only the panels. As a result, you are guaranteed that the door also has good sound insulation in its practical application. At the same time, these sound-insulating doors have no limitations with regard to use or area of application. It is possible to use the sound-insulating doors in outer walls.
Areas of application include: theatres, cultural centres, music halls, casings and the various industries.
It is possible to use the sound-insulating doors of Protec Industrial Doors in areas and/or outer walls for which fire-safety requirements are set, because the sound-insulating doors can be constructed as 60-minute fire-resistant models. These models have also been tested and certified.
