The SmartValve is ideal for existing high-rise buildings, student housing and/or assisted living facilities for both new construction and renovation. Everything is integrated into the SmartValve, which greatly reduces the architectural and installation costs! The SmartValve is an electro-actuated valve with air quality sensors, which measure CO2 and relative humidity. These sensors ensure optimal air quality. When renovating, a correct, energy efficient and effective removal of polluted air is very important. The SmartValve delivers the best energy performance in an airtight house, combined with BUVA self-regulating vents from the 'Stream' series. The SmartValve provides demand-controlled ventilation for individual appartments in buildings with pressure controlled roof fans. When renovating, it is not always possible to provide a ventilation unit for every apartment, to create a demand-controlled ventilation system. With the BUVA SmartValve this problem belongs to the past. The system is also suitable for the individual control of schools and offices with a central roof fan (also in new buildings), where room level ventilation control is required. The SmartValve is placed in the ventilation channel. The pressure-controlled roof fan maintains a constant pressure in the central exhaust duct. Controlled by the air quality sensor, the SmartValve will be opened or closed. The pressure in the central exhaust duct will drop, causing the roof fan to speed up and increase the removal of polluted air. The other valves remain equal in flow rate. The concept is simple, economical and effective. SmartValve is easy to integrate into a canal system ø 125, 200 and 250 mm. The ø 125 mm version is equipped with a silencer.
