With our new SLIDE collection of lamps, we have reaffirmed our loyalty to the principle of developing customisable lighting objects with the highest possible degree of function and quality. The shade is based on a mechanism developed in house, and a simple bending action is all it takes to adjust the height. In this way, the shade can be set to the right height with one single hand movement. As a central element, the lamp base is fabricated as a single component and refined using various surface finishes. We are particularly pleased with the waxed raw steel version, which, with its textured finish, offers an attractive contrast to the fabric shade. A freely suspended coloured fabric cable accentuates the lamp and provides a counterpoint to the strict linearity of the classic look.
