Almost as fast to lay as to unpack The new SimpLay Collection from objectflor offers all the advantages of design flooring without any clicking in place or gluing.

The play on words of the English terms simply and lay is a direct reference to the special plus points of the new collection: there is no faster or easier way of laying high-quality design flooring. Due to its weight, honeycomb backing structure and the fact that it is laid loose in a staggered arrangement, SimpLay has proved to be a success without any clicking or gluing. The collection with 30 up-to-date designs and a wear layer of 0.7 mm is specifically intended to be used in shopfitting and hotel-building, in offices and trade fair construction. Temporary use is easy with SimpLay because the particularly dimensionally stable tiles and planks can be quickly taken up without leaving any residues and re-laid elsewhere time and time again. However, objectflor also expressly recommends the collection as permanent flooring.

The latest technology and designs It is not only the easy installation that makes SimpLay stand out, there are also many innovative designs, for example a highly authentic leather look and an effective beaded texture. The stone effects are dominated by attractive concrete tiles measuring 600 x 600 mm. Wood is also a major feature of this collection with 20 designs ranging from elegant fine wood textures to expressive, rustic designs in XXL formats.

The solvent-free, water-based and UV-crosslinked PUR surface treatment makes the design flooring even tougher and easier to clean. The planks and tiles have been awarded the Indoor Air Comfort Gold Certificate because they guarantee particularly good indoor air, being made with bio-based and phthalate-free plasticisers. SimpLay is covered by Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), qualifying it for environmental building evaluation. There are many arguments in favour of this well-thought-out flooring system but the key benefit was put in a nutshell by a floor-layer at a test floor-laying event when he said, “It’s almost quicker to lay the floor than to unpack it!”
