Clear line for the single-family house
Siedle is presenting a new independent product line for the single-family or two-family dwelling. Select combines intercom unit, lamp and letterbox to create a complete system with uniform design and consistent appearance.
Siedle Select is letterbox, newspaper compartment, LED lamp, movement sensor, illuminated house number, bell and intercom unit – the typical functions that can be found on almost every residential building. However, these components are rarely coordinated with each other; in many entrances they fail to match either optically or functionally.
Siedle Select offers the full functionality in a consistent, elegant appearance which is still compatible with tight budgets. The options are a separate door station as an audio or video version, a letterbox with newspaper compartment, available with or without integrated door station, and an LED lamp with intelligent movement sensor. All components combine a translucent plastic housing with a panel of solid smooth-surfaced aluminium. The surface mounting guarantees simple planning and – an important aspect for energy-efficient buildings – the building shell and insulation remain virtually undamaged.
Variable: Letterbox
Like all Siedle letterboxes, the Select model is characterized by precise workmanship, high-quality materials and intelligent details. Letterbox and newspaper holder are equipped with a special profile to keep the post dry, even if moisture should penetrate due to condensation or driving rain. The flap is cushioned and closes gently without rattling. Available options for the letterbox are without any electronics or with either audio or video intercom unit. The communications technology is not simply screwed in behind a plate, but perfectly integrated – through to the ambient lighting of the video version, which bathes the translucent housing and the letter box in a soft glow.
Intelligent: LED lamp
Rounded corners, the circle as a design element, the panel made of solid aluminium – the LED lamp is an eye-catcher in its own right, while at the same time perfectly complementing door unit and letterbox. With movement sensor, twilight switch and energy-saving LED lamps it meets all requirements. The automatic switch-on ensures suitable lighting in all situations. as darkness approaches, a dimmed light switches on, sufficient for guidance and for backlighting the attached house number. When the sensor detects a movement, the lamp undergoes a gentle transition to reach full intensity.
Individual: Design options
Authentic materials and precise workmanship down to the finest detail lend Select a special perceived value. The elegant, stand-alone appearance is underlined by the design options. Select is available as standard in a white powder-coated finish or in naturally coloured anodized aluminium. And for individualists Siedle offers a very special service : they can have the Select components painted in any colour of their choice from the RAL colour palette so as to match other construction elements such as gates, door mountings or window frames.
