The material is scratch and abrasion resistant. It also has a high impact strength and energy absorption. Furthermore Seconect is waterproof and resistant against many acids and bases, even in places where the panel is milled or drilled. This should prevent delamination and rot. The material has a low flammability and is free of emissions. Seconect is also UV-resistant. According to the producer the material can without any problem be recycled.
