This side table is a smaller version of the SCW Case. It features one half-blind dovetailed walnut drawer, a cast-concrete top and hand-turned walnut legs. The fascia is cold-rolled steel laminated to a walnut core. Stefan Rurak transforms the steel, a characteristically cold material, into one that projects warmth and vibration by applying his unique process that combines painting with a range of black oxides and fire.
