cold-rolled steel, concrete, walnut
This cabinet combines three elemental materials, concrete, steel and wood to create a grounded, but elegant piece of furniture. The fascia is cold-rolled steel laminated to a walnut core, with a cast-concrete top. Stefan Rurak transforms the steel, a cold material, to project warmth and vibration by applying his unique process that combines painting with a range of black oxides and fire. The piece features adjustable shelves and tip-on hardware. Five solid wood dovetailed drawers and hand-turned legs complete the piece.
Dimensions: 16”W x 36”L x 59”H (Available in the size and material of your choosing).
SCW This collection focuses on three basic materials: steel, concrete and wood. Each piece combines at least two and more often all three elemental materials to create a collection that is as grounded as it is timeless.
