Taking time to enjoy times gone by can provide inspiration and generate exciting, new ideas. This was how the Reflections wallpaper collection was born - and it will be launched at the end of September. “Reflections features a new, modern take on motifs that hark back to the 1950s, 60s and 70s,” explains Madeleine Sidemo, designer in charge of the collection.
The cycle of trends coming around again and being modern once more is more the rule than the exception. For autumn 2016, Eco Wallpaper is seeing great demand for patterns, shapes and colours characteristic of what we, our parents or even our parents’ parents had on our walls in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. “The warm, cheerful shapes and colours bring an inclusive, homely feel to our otherwise fairly austere Scandinavian homes. The wallpapers provide an expressive backdrop to the modern, stylish home,” says Madeleine Sidemo, who is the designer in charge of the Reflections collection. “I believe that when you come home you should open the door and feel this is where I live, I like my home, and the wallpaper is a part of the home.”
