Apollo launches remote controlled blinds – the ultimate gadget for the home. Leading national retailer of made-to-measure blinds, shutters and awnings, Apollo Blinds has launched a range of products that allow homeowners to motorise the operation of their blinds, and raise and lower single or multiple blinds at a time with a remote control.

From this April, Apollo customers will be able to enjoy effortlessly stylish windows with the ultimate gadget for the home.

Effortless

Apollo’s motorised blinds can be adjusted at the touch of a button from up to 20 metres away, which means they can be conveniently operated from the comfort of an armchair, dining table or bed. It’s also an ideal solution for rooms and homes with more than one blind – up to 10 blinds can be operated at the same time. Or for those with a disability, this gadget can make life just that little bit easier; plus windows are often behind sofas, or other obstacles, so operating blinds remotely is the ideal solution to maximise room layouts without worrying about access to blinds.

Home Safety – timer control & light sensitive

With a fully automated timer system, blinds can be programmed to open or close, or move up and down at set times giving the impression there’s always someone home. In addition, the system is sensitive to light so blinds will automatically adjust in the sunshine to protect furnishings from bleaching, plants from drying out, or to tame reflection while watching TV or at the computer.

Child Safe

They are also cord-free, a significant safety benefit for families with young children worried about the threat of strangulation on cords.
