The Pietra Kaikos range is especially suited to clad inner walls. The used raw materials, like marble, travertine and basalt, come from quarries in Turkey. The natural stone is cut into slices and strips, which are cut to cubic shaped pieces of approximately 23mm. These are placed on nets to create plain mosaics. Standard size of one element is 30,5x30,5cm.

The mosaic effect is not achieved by a variegation of colours, but by different levels of depth. Also the structure and texture of the surface can be varied to achieve the variegation needed for a subtle mosaic. Textures vary from rough by breaking to shiny polished surfaces.
