Our Orchis series stools were conceived using the mathematical principle of non-orientated surfaces; producing objects that have no distinct inner and outer sides.
Instead, as curved surfaces twist and bend they create elegant seats, back rests and legs. The outdoor stools coalesce as a single object or lie scattered as a field of related dynamic shapes. Each piece accommodates from one to three places, bunched affording generous seating. Milled from EPS foam and reinforced with a fiberglass shell, the design evolved from a developed knowledge of material technologies and CNC milling.
