OPEN is the perfect cover system for exterior spaces like terraces, windows and entrances which need to be protected from atmospheric agents such as rain, snow and heavy solar radiation without giving up on benefits provided by air recirculation.
Entirely made with extruded aluminium profiles, it is basically composed of a main structure and a cover with aluminium slats, which can be adjusted through electric actuators with remote control from 0 to 90° degrees. The double hermetic gaskets provide an excellent resistance to rain and snow, thus improving the living comfort all over the year. It is available with self-supporting or leaning against the wall structure.
This particular and innovative outdoor cover system is designed according to UNI ENV 1999-1-1:2002 Eurocode 9 and provided with CE certification by TÜV SÜD according to EN 1090. It can bear snow loads up to 150 daN/m2 and wind up to 90 daN/m2.
OPEN can also be customized in its dimensions and colours. The maximum width achieves up to 600 cm., while length can be adapted in order to satisfy every need. There is also a wide range of available colours for the main structure and the slats, both treated superficially with pure thermosetting polyester powder, in order to ensure high resistance to UV rays and atmospheric agents. With a proper pre-treatment layer, the paint also ensures high resistance to corrosion.
