OLY PLATE CARBO 50 is a preimpregnated and prepolymerized plate made of carbon fiber of width 50 mm, obtained by processing of pultrusion. For requests for particular amount of product the laminae of OLY PLATE CARBO series can be supplied with geometrical and mechanical characteristics variables as a function of the design specifications. The laminae of the line OLY PLATE CARBO can be used for structural consolidation interventions of reinforced concrete, prestressed reinforced concrete, masonry, steel and wood elements. The consolidation systems FRP, obtained by the laying of laminae of the line OLY PLATE CARBO with appropriate epoxy resins as OLY RESIN 10, provides excellent tensile strength characteristics, allow to easily remedying precarious situations that affect both the vertical structures that horizontal elements. Unlike interventions realized with traditional materials, they reduce invasiveness, since they allow maintaining practically unchanged the size of the previous item and the weight of the same, and that of the entire structure. The composite materials have undoubted advantages: high tensile strength, low specific weight, high resistance to environmental stress. They also have the advantage of being applicable in a rapid and non-invasive way. The reinforcement, in the end, can be plastered with traditional plasters.
