Octoplus

As always, there have also been a number of technical developments at SOLARFOCUS. New to the program in 2014 are a range of solutions for existing boiler ranges, especially tailored to specific customer requirements: The octoplus was developed specifically for the efficient use of solar energy with residual energy cover by means of pellets. The boiler combines cutting edge solar technology with a pellet burner unit: If the sun's energy alone is not sufficient, it simply switches over to the pellet burner. The multiple award-winning pellet boiler is so popular that many customers called for an increased-power version. In order to meet this demand, SOLARFOCUS developed the energy centre sun + pellets for applications up to 22 kW. This is accompanied by an increase in the tank size. The octoplus 22 is not only slightly larger in terms of floor space, but also has a buffer volume of 800 litres. The two smaller versions featuring 10 and 15 kW output are equipped with 550-litre buffer tanks.
