Individual - Sculptural - endless expandable – built up without tools

These are the characteristics of the light and minimal shelving system “Obra”. In this shelf finds books, folders or other favourite pieces their right place.

The classic wedge connection is re-brought to life and allows a toolless assembly. The wood wedge is a visual highlight and simultaneously ensures the necessary stability.

Obra exists completely of plywood for frame and sides; Massive walnut wood for the wedges.

The shelf's width can be expanded because it can always be increased by an additional frame width to the sides.

A set composed of 3 frames with 6 wedges, 2 sides and 2 angles sets to be placed on the frame. The waste is reduced to the minimum. The sides from the shelf are made out of the frames.

It is really simple to built up the shelf “Obra” and without tools.

First, the sides are set up together with the frames. Then the frames and sides will be fixed by the wedges and ensure the necessary stability. For the smaller favourite pieces you have 2 boards. You pushed the 2 planks together. After that you can place them anywhere on the frames.

The dimensions are: Width 1400mm x height 1250mm x depth 350mm Birch plywood and walnut wedges
