Continuing the exploration of versatile furniture, Nomadic Bench adds a new layer into the project focusing on the visual interest of the users, who play a key role in the final configuration of the piece. The seat is an open platform which provides different setting´s options: they can equally sit facing each other or share the same view.
The Nomadic Bench is part of the Nomadic Collection, a series of furniture pieces which are based on a detachable structure without any kind of screws, nails or glue. This simple yet returnable system works through connections inspired by traditional wooden joinery that can be easily assembled and disassembled by hand.
A the core of the system lies the simplicity of it construction. Instead of glue, a simple metal connector is used to hold the wooden pieces together, providing enough strength and stability to create chairs, shelves or benches. The system has a big potential for furniture, whole interiors and even for small architectures.
