The worldwide market leader in thermal destratification fans, Airius, launches its DesignerSeries range.
The custom made new Designer Series is enclosed in a cylindrical housing and can be painted to match any colour code, making it the perfect choice for architecturally sensitive installations. The Designer series offers the same patented stator technology available throughout Airius’ range of energy saving destratification fans.
Managing Director ofAirius, Stephen Bridges, comments, “Through working in partnership with our clients and listening to the industry, we realised there was a significant gap in the market for a highly customisable and aesthetically pleasing fan, that still offers considerable energy savings.
“Ournew Designer Series reduces energy bills in both the summer and winter, delivering savingsof up to 50percent for any building, from offices to aircraft hangars, utilising the proven benefits of destratification.”
Through destratification, a building’s HVAC or heating and cooling system runs less frequently as the temperature extremes are moderated and the thermostat is satisfied for longer periods of time, significantly improving comfort and internal environmental control.
Airius systems are installed in a variety of business facilities including supermarkets, warehouse and distribution centres, schools, sports halls, defence and government facilities, manufacturing facilities, shopping centres and theatres and the firm boast a customer list ranging from Babcock, Boots and British Airways, toMorrisons, Mercedes and the Ministry of Defence.
Destratification significantly lowers a business’ carbon footprint and is recommended by the Carbon Trust as one of its top three carbon saving measures. Airius systems qualify for the Siemens Energy Efficiency Financing scheme and Salix Energy Efficiency Loans, among numerous other energy efficiency and carbon reduction technology funding options available throughout Europe and the UK.
