The Italian artist in mosaics Davide Medri, achieved his artistic background through the Ravenna Academy of Fine Arts with specialisation in mosaics at the Institute of Mosaic Art and the Albertainer Vocational Mosaic School in Ravenna, Italy.
Left the mosaics traditional materials, he started to work with glass mirror and, in 1997, his creative ability originated the "Mosaic Mirrors" Collection.
He cuts by hand recovered mirrors in squared little pieces that he attaches, side by side or overlapped, over a squared or rounded support. The broken and moved surfaces so created absorb, fragment, deform and reflect everything all around and catch light, colour and shapes from the setting.
