What is MASISA MDF?


It is a wood fiber board with tackifier resins, which is made through a process consisting of applying high pressure and temperature. The ease offered by MASISA MDF to cut it with CNC routing machine, molding it and painting it and milling it, provides the possibility to create endless environments and furnishings with original finishes.


*MDF means Medium Density Fiberboard


Its main features are the excellent finishes that are achieved with these boards, lower wear and tear of tools and large savings on paint compared to other types of wood boards. MASISA manufactures MDF with different characteristics, formats and thicknesses, which are marketed as raw or coated boards.


MASISA MDF provides you with:


•Flexibility and versatility of uses •Accuracy in milling, cutting with CNC machine (router) and a high precision work •Better use of inks, solvents and sealants applied on the board •Lower wear and tear of tools •Smooth surfaces suitable to be coated


With MASISA MDF you can do:


1.Furniture or environments applications with detailed finishes as milled and painted. 2.Furniture or environments coated with melamine, natural veneer, foil or high pressure laminates. 3.Coating interiors with curved or straight decorative elements.
