The new balustrade design Iosa Ghini for Faraone Presented at MADE EXPO 2011
Massimo Iosa Ghini designs for Faraone the balustrade Lúmina, a perfect marriage between functionality and aesthetics, where the lightness and the technical elements create an innovative and versatile product. The aluminum frame blends harmoniously with the surrounding architecture and Lumina becomes a design element that draws the spaces with light. The LED illumination is behind the project, this can be customized depending on customer needs, from an icy and cold light you can get a warm and welcoming one. The balustrade is also available without light.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
The balustrade is made up of two sheets of thickness 10 mm, maximum width of 1200 mm, in extra-clear laminated glass with PVB film interposed security. The plates are houses within an anodized extruded aluminum profile, narrow strip that acts as a resistance to the thrust block. The LED light is integrated within the profile. This allows heat dissipation naturally, without adding additional elements.
