Brooklyn based Wax Rax will premier new furniture designs made exclusively for the vinyl record collector in association with NYCxDESIGN and Design Week at ICFF. The event will celebrate Wax Rax’s third year in operation and their third showcase at the internationally renowned ICFF.
Wax Rax was founded in 2013 by designer, artist and metal fabricator David Stanavich. The Wax Rax brand is focused on creating premier vinyl record storage for accessing a collection of recorded music in style.
Designed exclusively for the vinyl record aficionado, Wax Rax offers unique carts, shelving and consoles that showcase the vinyl music library within a living space like fine literature, fashion or art books.
Each piece of furniture is built to order entirely from metal by skilled artisans in Stanavich’s Brooklyn workshop. Crafted from anodized aluminum, brass and steel, his patented designs create thin lines and open profiles for a unique, classic and contemporary styling.
Custom decorator color options are available for the entire Wax Rax catalog. Wax Rax also welcomes custom fabrication inquiries from designers and architects for vinyl record and audio equipment storage solutions outside the proprietary line.
Wax Rax has been featured by many leading sources of interior and contemporary furniture design such as InHabitat and Design Milk. Our LP-V series vinyl LP shelving tower was showcased in the recent Interior Design Fall Marketplace edition.
Please visit David Stanavich in booth 886 May 14-17 at ICFF to discuss his premier vinyl record and audio equipment units.
