Katana slices the air with its two delicately balanced carbon blades.
Technology and craftsmanship enhance a floor lamp that reflects the silent lavishness of ideas destined to endure time.
The use of carbon fiber is closely linked to the shaping and lightness of the two shafts: sliding the small counterweight towards the end of the shaft awakens Katana to life as it silently strives to achieve a new balance, thereby changing the height of the light source.
The profile of the two arcs, their tension and their crossing one another every aspect reflects the patient, obsessive effort in designing and refining the slightest detail: form suspends the idea in time, all haste must be banished.
Katana combines refined design and sophisticated engineering, emerging without clamor, while caressing the finely enameled skin and discovering the pattern of the carbon fiber.
Katana, design meets intelligence. Through the use of cutting-edge
technology and know-how, Katana's halogen light source has been replaced with LED panels, a showcase for how LEDs have come of age even in highlevel applications, offering warm light solutions and incredible brightness along with a significant and welcome reduction in energy consumption.
Katana houses a music-sensitive core and technological heart capable of communicating with a smartphone, iPod or any kind of Bluetooth device.
Katana rings, vibrates and lights up with sound.
Today, Katana has come full circle: originally created to stimulate our eyes and sense of touch, the lamp now stimulates our ears as well, and as a result, our hearts.
